The attacking team (pictured on the left of the map) must make their way up to the enemy base (pictured on the right of the map) and capture 3 flags.
The attacking team also starts with 5 grenades which they must place in the cannon outside the enemy base.
Points are awarded for flags and grenades. Effective communication and team building is key here.
Teams battle for that 1 flag that need to be gotten at the enemy base.
In order to score as many points as possible, you need to gather the yellow pods hidden around the arena and bring them back to base.
Capture 3 flags at the enemy's base to score points.
This sounds a bit easy but the tricky part here is raising the flag on the bridge, MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, you can easily get caught out.
The bridge is always a great fun activity.
Stag Run
Did you know?
- The winner of the first game of paintball won the game without firing a shot.
- Paintballs don’t actually contain paint, but rather gelatin capsules made of non-toxic, biodegradable, eco-friendly materials. You could eat one, but it tastes terrible. When paintballs are shot, the gelatin skin splits open, leaving a brightly-coloured mark on the tagged player.
- Paintball is a social game played in more than 100 countries, across six continents. Anthony Kelly of Australia holds the only paintball world record, as recognized by the Guinness Book Of World Records. He was able to catch 11 unbroken paintballs, while blindfolded, in two minutes. Unreal Anto!
- Paintball gives you a chance to get away from every day life and spend some time with people you know and get to know new friends. It's a game of people, from planning playing to bragging after an epic battle.
- Most paintball games involve eliminating the opposing team by hitting the players with paintballs, but there are many formats a game can take. Another popular game is capture the flag, which involves capturing the opposition’s flags whilst protecting your own as you can experience at the bridge arena.
- Tense situations in the game often bring out the best in many players and boost their self confidence. Good for weight loss and overall health, the extreme exercise gained from a session of paintball can improve sleep cycles and boost metabolism.
- Most recreational teams consist of a group of 10-20 players, but the number of players on each team can vary depending on the size of the playing zone.
